[NIV] Jesus left there and went to his hometown, accompanied by his disciples.
06:2 。 Anhiøhjit(Sabbath) kaux ee sii, Y ciu khaisie ti hoextngg karsi laang. Zøexzøe thviakvix Y ee karsi ee laang lorng cviaa hikii, korng, “Cit'ee laang tuy tafui titiøh citciorng pwnlerng leq? 。 安息日(Sabbath) 到 ee 時, Y 就 開始 ti 會堂 教示 人. 多多 聽見 Y ee 教示 ee 人 都 cviaa(很) 稀奇, 講, “這個 人 tuy 哪裡 得著 這種 本領 leq? 這 賞賜 ho`Y ee si 什麼 款 ee 智慧? Y ee 手 竟然 行出 ciahniq(這麼) 大 ee 神跡?”
[NIV] When the Sabbath came, he began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard him were amazed. "Where did this man get these things?" they asked. "What's this wisdom that has been given him, that he even does miracles!
06:3 。 “Cit'ee laang kiarm mxsi bagchviu maq? Y kiarm mxsi Maflixaf (Mary) ee kviar, Gvafkog (James), Ioksef (Joses), Iutai (Judas), Sebuun (Simon) ee hviati maq? Y ee cymoe kiarm mxsi kab larn ti ciaf maq?” Yn ciu thøfiax Y.
。 “這個 人 豈 mxsi 木匠 maq? Y 豈 mxsi 馬利亞 (Mary) ee 囝(子), 雅各 (James), 約西 (Joseph), 猶大 (Judas), 西門 (Simon) ee 兄弟 maq? Y ee 姊妹 豈 不是 kab larn ti ciaf(此) maq?” Yn 就 討厭 Y.
[NIV] Isn't this the carpenter? Isn't this Mary's son and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas and Simon? Aren't his sisters here with us?" And they took offense at him.
06:4 。 Iasof ka yn korng, “Sienty cyu ti kaki ee korhiofng, chinzok, kab kaki ee kateeng bøo siu laang zunkexng naxtvia.”
。 Iasof ka yn 講, “先知 只有 ti 自己 ee 故鄉, 親族, kab 自己 ee 家庭 bøo 受 人 尊敬 naxtvia(而已).”
[NIV] Jesus said to them, "Only in his hometown, among his relatives and in his own house is a prophet without honor."
06:5 。 Iasof ti hiaf kantvaf ka kuyee pvixlaang hvoaxchiuo, ihør yn ee pvi ygoa, bøo kviaa kithvaf ee sinjiaq.
。 Iasof ti hiaf(彼) 干單(只有) ka 幾個 病人 按手, 醫好 yn ee 病 以外, bøo 行 其他 ee 神跡.
[NIV] He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them.
06:6 。 Tuix ciah'ee laang ee mxsixn, Y kafmkag cyn kikoaix. Auxlaai, Iasof ciu khix sieuii ee hiongzhoafn karsi laang.
。 對 這些 人 ee 不信 Y 感覺 cyn 奇怪. 後來, Iasof 就 去 四圍 ee 鄉村 教示 人.
[NIV] And he was amazed at their lack of faith. Then Jesus went around teaching from village to village.

[NIV] Calling the Twelve to him, he sent them out two by two and gave them authority over evil spirits.
06:8 。 Y hoanhux yn korng, “Kantvaf cidky kvoayar, ti lo`nih padhang mih lorng mxbiern zaq; mixpaw, te'ar; lakte'ar ma mxthafng zaq cvii;
。 Y 吩咐 yn 講, “干單(只有) 一枝 枴仔, ti 路`nih 別項 mih(物) lorng mxbiern(不要) 紮(帶); 麵包, 袋仔; lakte’ar(落袋仔) ma 不可 紮(帶) 錢;
[NIV] These were his instructions: "Take nothing for the journey except a staff—no bread, no bag, no money in your belts.

。 穿 淺拖(涼鞋); 也 不可 穿 兩領(兩件) 外衫.
[NIV] Wear sandals but not an extra tunic.
06:10 。 Køq ka yn korng, “Lirn bølun kaux tøfui, jibkhix laang ee zhux, tiøh toax ti hiaf, ittit kaux lirn lixkhuy hit'ee sofzai.
。 又 ka yn 講, “Lirn 無論 到 tøfui(哪裡), 入去 人 ee 厝, tiøh 住 ti hiaf(彼), 一直 到 lirn 離開 那個 所在.
[NIV] Whenever you enter a house, stay there until you leave that town.
06:11 。 Bølun kaux symmih sofzai, laang na bøbeq ciapthai lirn, bøbeq thviaf lirn ee karsi, lirn lixkhuy ee sii, tiøh ka khaf`nih ee thohurn pvoaxpvoa leq, laai tuix yn zoex kiernzexng.
。 無論 到 什麼 所在, 人 na bøbeq(不要) 接待 lirn, bøbeq(不要) 聽 lirn ee 教示, lirn 離開 ee 時, tiøh ka 腳`nih ee 土粉 拌拌(拂拂) leq, 來 對 yn 作 見證.
[NIV] And if any place will not welcome you or listen to you, shake the dust off your feet when you leave, as a testimony against them."
06:12 。 Hagsefng ciu zhud`khix, thoantø, kiøx laang tiøh hoefkae.
。 學生 就 出`去, 傳道, 叫 人 tiøh(要) 悔改.
[NIV] They went out and preached that people should repent.
06:13 。 Yn kvoafzhud cinzøe kuie, eng iuu boaq zøexzøe pvixlaang, ihør yn.
。 Yn 趕出 真多 鬼, 用 油 抹 多多 病人, 醫好 yn.
[NIV] They drove out many demons and anointed many sick people with oil and healed them.
06:14 。 Hilut (Herod) oong thviakvix Iasof ee taixcix, in'ui Iasof ee miasviaf thoaan kaux tagsofzai. Uxlaang afnyny korng, “Si Sisea ee Iok'han (John) tuy sylaang-tiofng køh'oah, sofie ciah'u citciorng koanleeng tuy Y hiefnzhud.”
。 希律 (Herod) 王 聽見 Iasof ee 代誌, 因為 Iasof ee 名聲 傳 到 各所在. 有人 affnny 講, “Si 施洗 ee 約翰 (John) 從 死人-中 復活, 所以 才有 這種 權能 tuy Y 顯出.”
[NIV] King Herod heard about this, for Jesus' name had become well known. Some were saying, "John the Baptist has been raised from the dead, and that is why miraculous powers are at work in him."
06:15 。 Ia uxlaang korng, “Y si Ylixaf (Elijah).” Køq uxlaang korng, “Y si sienty, si chinchviu kofzar sienty-tiofng ee cidee.”
。 Ia 有人 講, “Y si 以利亞 (Elijah).” Køq 有人 講, “Y si 先知, si 親像 古早 先知-中 ee 一個.”
[NIV] Others said, "He is Elijah." And still others claimed, "He is a prophet, like one of the prophets of long ago."
06:16 。 Hilut (Herod) thviakvix ciah'ee, korng, “Y si goar sor zaxmthaau ee Iok'han (John), y tuy sie køh'oah laq.”
。 希律 (Herod) 聽見 這些, 講, “Y si goar 所 斬頭 ee 約翰 (John), y tuy 死 復活 laq.”
[NIV] But when Herod heard this, he said, "John, the man I beheaded, has been raised from the dead!"
06:17 。 Goanlaai, Hilut (Herod) uixtiøh y ee hviati Huilek (Philip) ee bor Hiløtea (Herodias) ee ienkox (in'ui y zhoa Hiløtea (Herodias) zoex bor), zhef laang ka Iok'han (John) liah`khylaai, kvoay-jibkhix ti kvaløo`nih.
。 原來, 希律(Herod) 為著 y ee 兄弟 腓力 (Philip) ee bor(妻子) 希羅底(Herodias) ee 緣故 (因為 y 娶 希羅底(Herodias) 做 bor(妻子), 差 人 ka 約翰(John) 掠(抓)`起來, 關-入去 監牢`nih.
[NIV] For Herod himself had given orders to have John arrested, and he had him bound and put in prison. He did this because of Herodias, his brother Philip's wife, whom he had married.
06:18 。 In'ui Iok'han (John) bad ka Hilut (Herod) korng, “Lie bøo erngkay parciaxm hviati ee bor.”
。 因為 約翰(John) 曾 ka 希律(Herod) 講, “Lie bøo 應該 霸佔 兄弟 ee bor(妻).”
[NIV] For John had been saying to Herod, "It is not lawful for you to have your brother's wife."
06:19 。 Afnny, Hiløtea (Herodias) ciu oarnhun Iok'han (John), sviuxbeq thaai y, taxnsi bøo paxnhoad.
。 Afnny, 希羅底(Herodias) 就 怨恨 約翰(John), 想要 thaai(殺)`y, 但是 bøo 辦法.
[NIV] So Herodias nursed a grudge against John and wanted to kill him. But she was not able to,
06:20 。 In'ui Hilut (Herod) kviaf Iok'han (John), zaiviar y si cidee gi køq sexng ee laang, sofie kerng'uix`y, pøfho`y. Muypae thviaf y korng, simlai lorng cyn khurnjiao, taxnsi y iawkuo aix thviaf y korng.
。 因為 希律(Herod) 驚(害怕) 約翰(John), 知影 y si 一個 義 køq 聖 ee 人, 所以 敬畏`y, 保護`y. 每次 聽 y 講, 心內 lorng cyn 困擾, 但是 y 猶復(仍然) 愛 聽 y 講.
[ASV] for Herod feared John, knowing that he was a righteous and holy man, and kept him safe. And when he heard him, he was much perplexed; and he heard him gladly.
06:21 。 Uxcidjit, kihoe laai laq. Ti Hilut (Herod) svijit hitkafng, Hilut (Herod) paxntøq, chviar y ee taixsiin, kunsu ciornglerng, kab Kalixli (Galilee) ee siwtviuo.
。 有一日, 機會 來 laq. Ti 希律(Herod) 生日 那工(那天), 希律(Herod) 辦桌, 請 y ee 大臣, 軍事 將領, kab 加利利(Galilee) ee 首長.
[NIV] Finally the opportune time came. On his birthday Herod gave a banquet for his high officials and military commanders and the leading men of Galilee.
06:22 。 Hiløtea (Herodias) ee zabofkviar jibkhix thiaobuo, ho Hilut (Herod) kab langkheq lorng cyn hvoahie. Oong ciu ka zabor-gyn'ar korng, “Lie bølun ka goar kiuu symmih, goar itteng beq ho lie.”
。 希羅底(Herodias) ee 查某子(女兒) 入去 跳舞, ho 希律(Herod) kab 人客 lorng cyn 歡喜. 王 ciu ka 查某囡仔(女孩子) 講, “Lie 無論 ka goar 求 甚麼, goar 一定 beq 給 lie.”
[NIV] When the daughter of Herodias came in and danced, she pleased Herod and his dinner guests. The king said to the girl, "Ask me for anything you want, and I'll give it to you."
06:23 。 Køq ka yi ciuozoa korng, “Lie sor kiuu`ee, ciuxsi goar ongkog ee cidpvoax, goar ia beq ho lie.”
。 Køq ka yi 咒誓(起誓) 講, “Lie 所 求`ee, 就是 goar 王國 ee 一半, goar ia(也) beq(要) ho(給) lie.”
[NIV] And he promised her with an oath, "Whatever you ask I will give you, up to half my kingdom."
06:24 。 Zabor-gyn'ar khix mng yi ee lauxbuo korng, “Goar beq kiuu symmih?” Hiløtea (Herodias) korng, “Kviaa seflea Iok'han (John) ee thaukhag.”
。 查某囡仔(女孩子) 去 問 yi ee 老母 講, “Goar beq 求 甚麼?” 希羅底(Herodias) 講, “行 洗禮 約翰(John) ee 頭殼.”
[NIV] She went out and said to her mother, "What shall I ask for?" "The head of John the Baptist," she answered.
06:25 。 Yi kvoafkirn khix oong ee bixnzeeng, ka oong kiuu korng, “Goar beh'aix lie mafsiong ka kviaa seflea Iok'han (John) ee thaau khngx ti pvoa'ar`nih, sviwsux goar.”
。 Y 趕緊 去 王 ee 面前, ka 王 求 講, “Goar 要愛(要) lie 馬上 ka 行 洗禮 約翰(John) ee 頭 置(放) ti 盤子`nih, 賞賜 goar.”
[NIV] At once the girl hurried in to the king with the request: "I want you to give me right now the head of John the Baptist on a platter."
06:26 。 Oong huisioong iubun; taxnsi y bextaxng kuxzoat, in'ui y ykefng ti langkheq ee bixnzeeng ciuozoa aq.
。 王 非常 憂悶; 但是 y 不能 拒絕, 因為 y 已經 ti 人客 ee 面前 咒誓(起誓) aq.
[NIV] The king was greatly distressed, but because of his oaths and his dinner guests, he did not want to refuse her.
06:27 。 Oong libkheg zhef cidee hoxoexpefng, bexngleng y khix ka Iok'han (John) ee thaau theh`laai. hoxoexpefng ciu khix kvaf`nih ka Iok'han (John) ee thaau zarm`løqlaai,
。 王 立刻 差 一個 護衛兵, 命令 y 去 ka 約翰(John) ee 頭 提`來(拿`來). 護衛兵 就 去 監`nih ka 約翰(John) ee 頭 斬`落來,
[NIV] So he immediately sent an executioner with orders to bring John's head. The man went, beheaded John in the prison,
06:28 。 ka thaau khngx ti pvoa'ar, phaang laai ho zabor-gyn'ar, zabor-gyn'ar køq kaw ho yi ee lauxbuo.
。 ka 頭 置(放) ti 盤子, 捧 來 ho 查某囡仔(女孩子), 查某囡仔(女孩子) køq 交 ho yi ee 老母.
[NIV] and brought back his head on a platter. He presented it to the girl, and she gave it to her mother.
06:29 。 Iok'han (John) ee hagsefng thviaf`kvix, ciu laai siw y ee sithea, ka y baizoxng ti bong`nih.
。 約翰(John) ee 學生 聽見, 就 來 收 y ee 屍體, ka y 埋葬 ti 墓`nih.
[NIV] On hearing of this, John's disciples came and took his body and laid it in a tomb.
耶穌使五千人吃飽(太 14:13-21 路 09:10-17 約 6:1-14)
06:30 。 Swtoo tngr`laai, zuxcip ti Iasof ee bixnzeeng, ka yn sor zoex`ee kab sor karsi`ee lorng ka Y pørkøx.

[NIV] The apostles gathered around Jesus and reported to him all they had done and taught.
06:31 。 In'ui ofnglaai ee laang cinzøe, yn lieen ciaqpng ee sikafn maxbøo, Iasof ka yn korng, “Lirn kab goar laikhix khorng'iar ee sofzai hiøhkhuxn`cide.”
。 因為 往來 ee 人 真多, yn 連 吃飯 ee 時間 嘛沒/也無, Iasof ka yn 講, “Lirn kab goar 來去 曠野 ee 所在 歇睏(休息)`一下.”
[NIV] Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, "Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest."
06:32 。 Yn ciu tiaxmtiam cviuxzuun, khix khorng'iar ee sofzai.
。 Yn 就 恬恬(靜靜) 上船, 去 曠野 ee 所在.
[NIV] So they went away by themselves in a boat to a solitary place.
06:33 。 U cinzøe laang khvoarkvix yn lixkhuy, jixnzhud yn, ciu tuy tagsviachi, zørhoea zao` khix, soax pie yn khaq taixsefng kaux hiaf.
。 U 真多 人 看見 yn 離開, 認出 yn, 就 tuy 逐城市/各城市, 做伙 跑`去, soax 比 yn khaq(較) 代先 到 hiaf(彼).
[NIV] But many who saw them leaving recognized them and ran on foot from all the towns and got there ahead of them.
06:34 。 Iasof løqzuun, khvoarkvix kui'toaxtin laang, ciu linbirn yn, in'ui yn chinchviu bøo bogciar ee viuu, ciu khaisie karsi yn zøexzøe taixcix.
。 Iasof 落船/下船, 看見 規大陣(很多) 人, 就 憐憫 yn, 因為 yn 親像 bøo 牧者 ee 羊, 就 開始 教示 yn 多多 代誌.
[NIV] When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things.
06:35 。 Jidthaau beq løh ee sii, hagsefng laai ka Y korng, “Ciaf si khorng'iar, thvy ykefng axm aq,
。 日頭 beq 落 ee 時, 學生 來 ka Y 講, “此 si 曠野, 天 已經 晚 aq,
[NIV] By this time it was late in the day, so his disciples came to him. "This is a remote place," they said, "and it's already very late.
06:36 。 chviar ka yn kaysvoax, thafng ho yn khix huokin ee zngsia, kaki bøea miqkvia ciah.”
。 請 ka yn 解散, 可 ho yn 去 附近 ee 莊舍, 自己 買 物件/東西 吃.”
[NIV] Send the people away so they can go to the surrounding countryside and villages and buy themselves something to eat."
06:37 。 Iasof ixn korng, “Lirn ho yn ciah.” Hagsefng korng, “Kiarm beh'aix goarn eng nngxpaq-khof gunpex bøea pviar ho yn ciah maq?”
。 Iasof ixn(應/答) 講, “Lirn ho yn 吃.” 學生 講, “豈 要愛(要) goarn 用 兩百-員 銀幣 買 餅 ho yn 吃 maq?”
[NIV] But he answered, "You give them something to eat." They said to him, "That would take eight months of a man's wages! Are we to go and spend that much on bread and give it to them to eat?"
06:38 。 Iasof korng, “Lirn u joaxzøe pviar, khix khvoarmai.” Yn zaiviar liawau, ciu korng, “U goxee pviar, nngxbøea hii.”
。 Iasof 講, “Lirn u 若多/多少 餅, 去 看覓(看看).” Yn 知影 了後, 就 講, “U 五個 餅, 兩尾 魚.”
[NIV]
"How many loaves do
you have?" he asked. "Go and see."
When
they found out, they said, "Five—and two fish."
06:39 。 Iasof hoanhux yn, kiøx tagkef hwn cidzof-cidzof ze ti zhawpof-terng.
。 Iasof 吩咐 yn, 叫 大家 分 一組-一組 坐 ti 草埔-頂.
[NIV] Then Jesus directed them to have all the people sit down in groups on the green grass.
06:40 。 Yn ciu cidzof-cidzof ze`løqlaai, u cidpaq cidzof`ee, iaxu goxzap cidzof`ee.
。 Yn 就 一組- 一組 坐`落來/坐下`來, u 一百 一組`ee, 亦有 五十 一組`ee.
[NIV] So they sat down in groups of hundreds and fifties.
06:41 。 Iasof theh hitgoxee pviar, nngxbøea hii, ngx thvy cioksia, ka pviar pehkhuy, theh ho hagsefng pwn ho zernglaang; ma ka nngxbøea hii pwn ho zernglaang.
。 Iasof 拿 那五個 餅, 兩尾 魚, ngx(向) 天 祝謝, ka 餅 擘開, 遞 ho(給) 學生 分 ho 眾人; ma ka 兩尾 魚 分 ho 眾人.
[NIV] Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to his disciples to set before the people. He also divided the two fish among them all.
06:42 。 Yn lorng ciah kaux pafpar.

[NIV] They all ate and were satisfied,

[NIV] and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces of bread and fish.

。 吃餅`的, zapof`ee(男子) 就 u 五千.
[NIV] The number of the men who had eaten was five thousand.
06:45 。 Iasof zhuy Y ee hagsefng cviuxzuun, sengkhix Peksaetai (Bethsaida), thernghau Y kaysvoax kuncioxng.
。 Iasof 催 Y ee 學生 上船, 先去 伯賽大(Bethsaida), 聽候/等候 Y 解散 群眾.
[NIV] Immediately Jesus made his disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to Bethsaida, while he dismissed the crowd.

[NIV] After leaving them, he went up on a mountainside to pray.

。 黃昏 ee 時陣, 船 已經 ti 湖 ee 中央, Iasof 單獨 ti 岸`nih.
[NIV] When evening came, the boat was in the middle of the lake, and he was alone on land.
06:48 。 Khvoarkvix yn kørzuun køx-gaq cyn kangkhor, in'ui si geghofng(chvixhofng). Taixiog si armmii siekvy, Iasof ti zuybin ngx yn kviaa`khix, aebeq tuy yn hiaf kviaa`køex.
。 看見 yn 划船 划-gaq cyn 艱苦, 因為 si 逆風. 大約 si 暗暝 四更, Iasof ti 水面 ngx(向) yn 行`去, 愛欲 tuy yn hiaf(彼) 行過.
[NIV] He saw the disciples straining at the oars, because the wind was against them. About the fourth watch of the night he went out to them, walking on the lake. He was about to pass by them,
06:49 。 Hagsefng khvoarkvix Y ti zuybin teq kviaa, liaqzoex si kuykoaix, ciu toaxsviaf hoaq`khylaai.
。 學生 看見 Y ti 水面 teq 行, 以為 si 鬼怪, 就 大聲 喊`起來.
[NIV] but when they saw him walking on the lake, they thought he was a ghost. They cried out,
06:50 。 In'ui yn lorng u khvoarkvix Y, cyn kviahviaa. Iasof kvoafkirn ka yn korng, “Lirn ansym, si goar, mxbiern kviaf.”
。 因為 yn lorng u 看見 Y, cyn 驚惶. Iasof 趕緊 ka yn 講, “Lirn 安心, si goar, 不免(不需要) 驚.”
[NIV] because they all saw him and were terrified. Immediately he spoke to them and said, "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid."
06:51 。 Y ciu cviuxzuun kab yn zørhoea, hofng ciu tvia loq. Yn simlai zabhwn tiøqkviaf kab hikii,
。 Y 就 上船 kab yn 做伙, 風 ciu 定 loq. Yn 心裏 十分 著驚 kab 稀奇,
[NIV] Then he climbed into the boat with them, and the wind died down. They were completely amazed,
06:52 。 Zef si in'ui yn iawbøo bengpek hit'ee pwn-pviar ee sinjiaq, yn ee sym iawsi cintun.
。 這 si 因為 yn 猶無(尚未) 明白 那個 分餅 ee 神蹟, yn ee 心 猶是(還是) 真鈍.
[NIV] for they had not understood about the loaves; their hearts were hardened.
