[NIV] The Pharisees and some of the teachers of the law who had come from Jerusalem gathered around Jesus and

07:2 yn khvoarkvix Y ee hagsefng-laixbin uxlaang eng “bøo zhengkhix”, ia ciuxsi bøo sea ee chiuo teq ciaqpng.

yn 看見 Y ee 學生-內面 有人 用沒清氣, ia 就是 bøo ee teq 吃飯.

[NIV] saw some of his disciples eating food with hands that were "unclean," that is, unwashed.

07:3 (In'ui Hoatlixsaix-laang (Pharisees) kab Iuthaix-laang (Jews) lorng korsiuo kofzar-laang ee thoanthorng, na bøo cimciog sefchiuo ciu bøo ciah.

(因為 法利賽人(Pharisees) kab 猶太人(Jews) lorng 固守 古早人 ee 傳統, na bøo 斟足(仔细) 洗手 bøo .

[NIV] (The Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they give their hands a ceremonial washing, holding to the tradition of the elders.

07:4 Tuy chixtviuu tngr`laai, na bøo sea ia bøo ciah; yn køq korsiuo cinzøe padhang ee thoanthorng, chinchviu ciaux kuiteng sea poef, koaxn, tangkhix, tefngterng.)

Tuy() 市場 轉來(回來), na bøo ia bøo ; yn køq 固守 真多 別項 ee 傳統, 親像 照 規定 洗 杯, , 銅器, 等等.)

[RSV] and when they come from the market place, they do not eat unless they purify themselves; and there are many other traditions which they observe, the washing of cups and pots and vessels of bronze.)

07:5 Hoatlixsaix-laang (Pharisees) kab kenghagsu mng Iasof korng, “Lie ee hagsefng uixsymmih bøo zunsiuo kofzar-laang ee thoanthorng, eng bøo zhengkhix ee chiuo laai ciaqpng leq?”

法利賽人(Pharisees) kab 經學士 問 Iasof , “Lie ee 學生 為甚麼 bøo 守 古早人 ee 傳統, bøo 清氣 ee 手 來 吃飯 leq?”

[NIV] So the Pharisees and teachers of the law asked Jesus, "Why don't your disciples live according to the tradition of the elders instead of eating their food with 'unclean' hands?"

07:6 Iasof korng, “Ysae'af (Isaiah) kie lirn ciah'ee kefsien ee laang sor korng ee uxgieen cintiøh. Ciaux Serngkefng laixbin sor korng`ee, ‘Ciah'ee pehsvix eng zhuietuun zunkexng goar, taxnsi yn ee sym lixkhuy goar hngxhng.’

Iasof , “以賽亞(Isaiah) lirn 這些 假善 ee 人 所ee 預言 真對. 照 聖經 內面 所 講`ee, ‘這些 百姓嘴唇 尊敬 goar, 但是 yn ee 心 離開 goar 遠遠.’

[NIV] He replied, "Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: " 'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.

07:7 Yn kerngpaix goar si khangkhafng`ee, in'ui yn ka laang ee bexngleng torngzoex tøxlie laai karsi laang.’

Yn 敬拜 goar si 空空`ee, 因為 yn ka ee 命令 當做 道理 來 教示 人.’

[NIV] They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.'

07:8 Lirn parngsag Sioxngtex ee kaebeng, korsiuo laang ee thoanthorng.”

Lirn 放棄/撇棄 上帝 ee 誡命, 固守ee 傳統.”

[NIV] You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to the traditions of men."

07:9 Iasof køq ka yn korng, “Lirn kienchii kaki ee thoanthorng, sidzai si parngsag Sioxngtex ee kaebeng!

Iasof køq ka yn , “Lirn 堅持 自己 ee 傳統, 實在 si 放棄/撇棄 上帝 ee 誡命!

[NIV] And he said to them: "You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions!

07:10 Mosef (Moses) bad korng, ‘Tiøh haokexng pexbuo.’ køq korng, ‘Lefme pexbuo`ee, tiøh ka y zhwsie.’

摩西 (Moses) 曾 講, ‘Tiøh 孝敬 父母.’ køq , ‘詈罵/厲罵 父母`ee, tiøh ka y 處死.’

[NIV] For Moses said, 'Honor your father and your mother,' and, 'Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death.'

07:11 Lirn tientøx korng, ‘Laang na ka y ee pexbuo korng, ‘Lie extaxng tuy goar-ciaf tid`tiøh ee hoxng'viuo, goar ykefng hiernzoex Kokparn (Corban) aq.’(Kokparn (Corban) ee iesux si ho Sioxngtex ee lefmih);

Lirn 顛倒 講, ‘na ka y ee 父母 , ‘Lie 能夠 tuy() goar-ciaf(-) `ee 奉養, goar 已經 獻做 各板(Corban) aq.’ (各板 (Corban) ee 意思 si ho 上帝 ee 禮物);

[NIV] But you say that if a man says to his father or mother: 'Whatever help you might otherwise have received from me is Corban' (that is, a gift devoted to God),

07:12 Afnny lirn ciu wnzurn y yau mxbiern hoxng'viuo pexbuo.

Afnny lirn 就 允准 y 以後 不免(不需要) 奉養 父母.

[NIV] then you no longer let him do anything for his father or mother,

07:13 Afnny lirn ciu eng sor thoansiu ee thoanthorng-kuikuo, huietiau Sioxngtex ee oe. Lirn zoex cinzøe chinchviu afnny ee taixcix.”

Afnny lirn 就 用 所 傳授 ee 傳統-規矩, 廢掉 上帝 ee . Lirn 作 真多 親像 afnny ee 代誌.”

[NIV] Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that."

使人不潔淨的東西15:10-20

07:14 Iasof køq kiøx zernglaang laai, ka yn korng, “Lirn lorng tiøh thviaf goar ee oe, ia tiøh bengpek.

Iasof køq 叫 眾人 來, ka yn , “Lirn lorng tiøh goar ee , ia tiøh 明白.

[NIV] Again Jesus called the crowd to him and said, "Listen to me, everyone, and understand this.

07:15 Tuy goaxbin jibkhix`ee, be ka laang phaq lasaam; tuy laixbin zhud`laai ee, ciaq e ka laang phaq lasaam.

Tuy() 外面 入去`ee, be(/不會) ka 人 打 (污穢); tuy() 內面 出來`ee, ciaq() e() ka 人 打 (污穢).

[BBE] There is nothing outside the man which, going into him, is able to make him unclean: but the things which come out of the man are those which make the man unclean.

07:16 U hvixkhafng thafng thviaf`ee, ciu erngkay thviaf.”

U 耳孔 可 `ee, 應該 聽.”

[NAS] “If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear!”

07:17 Iasof lixkhuy zernglaang, jibkhix zhuolai, Y ee hagsefng mng Y cit'ee pyju ee iesux.

Iasof 離開 眾人, 入去 厝內, Y ee 學生 問 Y 這個 比喻 ee 意思.

[NIV] After he had left the crowd and entered the house, his disciples asked him about this parable.

07:18 Y ka yn korng, “Lieen lirn ia ciahniq bøe hiawgvo maq? Kiarm mxzay, tuy goaxbin jip`khix ee, bøo cidhang e ka laang phaq lasaam maq?

Y ka yn , “ lirn ia 這麼 未(不能夠) 曉悟 maq? 豈 不知, tuy() 外面 `ee, bøo 一項 e() ka 人 打 (污穢) maq?

[NIV] "Are you so dull?" he asked. "Don't you see that nothing that enters a man from the outside can make him 'unclean'?

07:19 In'ui mxsi jip y ee sym, cysi jibkhix y ee paktor, auxlaai paxng`zhutlaai.” (Iasof afnny korng si teq korng taghang ee ciaqmih lorng si zhengkhix`ee.)

因為 mxsi(不是) y ee , 只是 入去 y ee 腹肚, 後來 放`出來.” (Iasof afnny si teq 講 各項 ee 吃物(食物) lorng si 清氣`ee.)

[NIV] For it doesn't go into his heart but into his stomach, and then out of his body." (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods "clean.")

07:20 Y køq korng, “Tuy laang ee laixbin zhud`laai ee ciaq e ho y pvix lasaam.

Y køq 講 “Tuy ee 內面 出`ee e(/) ho y (污穢).

[NIV] He went on: "What comes out of a man is what makes him 'unclean.'

07:21 In'ui tuy laixbin, ciuxsi tuy laang ee sym hoatzhud phvae ee liaxmthaau, imloan, thautheh, hiongsad,

因為 tuy 內面, 就是 tuy ee 心 發出ee 念頭, 淫亂, 偷竊, 兇殺,

[NIV] For from within, out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder,

07:22 kan'iim, thamsym, sia'og, kanzax, horngtong, zektox, huypoxng, kiaugvo, gugong;

姦淫, 貪心, 邪惡, 奸詐, 放蕩, 嫉妒, 毀謗, 驕傲, 愚憨;

[NIV] adulty, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly.

07:23 ciah'ee phvae-taixcix lorng tuy laang ee laixbin zhud`laai, ho laang pvix lasaam.”

這些 歹代誌 lorng tuy ee 內面 出`, ho 人 變 (污穢).”

[NIV] All these evils come from inside and make a man 'unclean.' "

一個女人的信心15:21-28

07:24 Iasof tuy hiaf khysyn, khix zhuiløo (Tyre) ee kefngkaix, jibkhix cidkefng zhux. Y mxaix ho laang zay, taxnsi khaxm-boextiaau.

Iasof tuy hiaf() 起身, 推羅(Tyre) ee 境界, 入去 一間 厝. Y 不愛 ho 人 知, 但是 蓋-未條(蓋不住).

[NIV] Jesus left that place and went to the vicinity of Tyre. He entered a house and did not want anyone to know it; yet he could not keep his presence secret.

07:25 Hitsii u cidee huxjinlaang, y ee seahaxn zabofkviar ho siasiin huxsyn, thviakvix Iasof ee taixcix, ciu laai phag ti Y ee khazeeng.

那時 有 一個 婦人人, y ee 細漢 查某囝 ho 邪神 附身, 聽見 Iasof ee 代誌, 就 來 仆/ ti Y ee 腳前.

[NIV] In fact, as soon as she heard about him, a woman whose little daughter was possessed by an evil spirit came and fell at his feet.

07:26 Cit'ee huxjinlaang si Hiliap-laang (Greek), si ti Suxlixaf Huiniky (Syrian Phoenicia) zhutsix`ee. Yi kiuu Iasof ka kuie kvoar lixkhuy y ee zabofkviar.

這個 婦人人 si 希臘人(Greek), si ti 敘利亞 非尼基(Syrian Phoenicia) 出世`ee. Yi Iasof ka 鬼 趕 離開 y ee 查某囝.

[NIV] The woman was a Greek, born in Syrian Phoenicia. She begged Jesus to drive the demon out of her daughter.

07:27 Iasof ka yi korng, “Tiøh taixsefng ho kaki ee kviar ciaqpar. Theh kviar ee pviar taxn ho kawar si mxtiøh`ee.”

Iasof ka yi , “Tiøh 代先 ho 自己 ee /子 吃飽. 拿 囝/ee 餅 擲 ho 狗仔 si 不對`ee.”

[NIV] "First let the children eat all they want," he told her, "for it is not right to take the children's bread and toss it to their dogs."

07:28 Hit'ee huxjinlaang ixn korng, “Zuo`aq, si laq; mxkuo tøhkhaf ee kawar ma ciah lag`løqkhix ee pviafzhuix.”

那個 婦人人 應 講, “`, si laq; 不過 桌腳 ee 狗仔 ma lag`落去 ee .”

[NIV] "Yes, Lord," she replied, "but even the dogs under the table eat the children's crumbs."

07:29 Iasof ka yi korng, “In'ui citkux oe, lie thafng tngr`khix, kuie ykefng lixkhuy lie ee zabofkviar aq.”

Iasof ka y , “因為 這句 話, lie 可 轉去(回去), 鬼 已經 離開 lie ee 查某囝 aq.”

[NIV] Then he told her, "For such a reply, you may go; the demon has left your daughter."

07:30 Y tngfkhix, kaux yn-taw, khvoarkvix zabofkviar tør ti binzhngg, kuie ykefng zhud`khix.

Y 轉去(回去), yn-taw(他們家), 看見 查某囝 ti 眠床, 鬼 已經 出`.

[NIV] She went home and found her child lying on the bed, and the demon gone.

耶穌治好一個聾啞的人

07:31 Iasof lixkhuy Zhuiløo (Tyre) ee kefngkaix, kengkøex Setuxn (Sidon), ittit kaux Kalixli-hae (sea of Galilee), cirnjip Tekapholi (Decapolis) texkhw.

Iasof 離開 推羅(Tyre) ee 境界, 經過 西頓(Sidon), 一直 到 加利利海(sea of Galilee), 進入 低加波利(Decapolis) 地區.

[NIV] Then Jesus left the vicinity of Tyre and went through Sidon, down to the Sea of Galilee and into the region of the Decapolis.

07:32 Uxlaang zhoa cidee zhaohvixlaang køq efkao ee laang laai Y hiaf, kiuu Iasof eng chiuo bofng y ee sengkhw.

有人 帶 一個 臭耳人(耳聾) køq 啞巴 ee 人 來 Y hiaf(), Iasof 用 手 摸 y ee 身軀.

[NIV] There some people brought to him a man who was deaf and could hardly talk, and they begged him to place his hand on the man.


07:33 Iasof ka cit'ee laang zhoa khix pvi'ar, lixkhuy zernglaang, eng zefngthauar zhwn-jibkhix y siangpeeng ee hvixkhafng, køq phuix zhuienoa laai boaq y ee cih,

Iasof ka 這個 人 帶 去 邊仔, 離開 眾人, 用 指頭仔 伸-入去 y 雙旁 ee 耳孔, køq () 嘴涎(唾液) y ee ,

[NIV] After he took him aside, away from the crowd, Jesus put his fingers into the man's ears. Then he spit and touched the man's tongue.

07:34 jien'au Iasof giaqthaau ngx thvy thofkhuix, ka y korng, “Yhoattai (Ephphatha)!” iesux si ‘Khuy’.

然後 Iasof 舉頭 向 天 吐氣, ka y , “以法大(Ephphatha)!” 意思 si ‘.

[NIV] He looked up to heaven and with a deep sigh said to him, "Ephphatha!" (which means, "Be opened!" ).

07:35 Y siangpeeng ee hvixkhafng ciu khuy, cih ia leng`khix, kofng'oe ia cyn zhengzhør.

Y 雙旁 ee 耳孔 就 , ia `, 講話 ia cyn 清楚.

[NIV] At this, the man's ears were opened, his tongue was loosened and he began to speak plainly.

07:36 Iasof hoanhux yn, mxthafng ka laang korng. Taxnsi Y juo-hoanhux, yn juo-soanthoaan.

Iasof 吩咐 yn, 不可 ka 人 講. 但是 Y - 吩咐, yn - 宣傳.

[NIV] Jesus commanded them not to tell anyone. But the more he did so, the more they kept talking about it.

07:37 Zernglaang lorng tiøqkviaf køq hikii, korng, “Y sor zoex`ee lorng cinhør. Lieen zhaohvixlaang`ee Y ia ho yn thviaf`kvix, efkao`ee Y ia ho yn kofng'oe.”

眾人 lorng 著驚(驚訝) køq 希奇, , “Y 所 作`ee lorng 真好. 連 臭耳人`ee Y ia ho yn 聽見, 啞巴`ee Y ia ho yn 講話.”

[NIV] People were overwhelmed with amazement. "He has done everything well," they said. "He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak."
