[NIV] And he said to them, "I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God come with power."

。 過 六日, Iasof 帶 彼得(Peter), 雅各(James), 約翰(John), 爬上 一座 高山; ti yn ee 面前, Iasof 改變 形狀.

[NIV] After six days Jesus took Peter, James and John with him and led them up a high mountain, where they were all alone. There he was transfigured before them.

[NIV] And there appeared before them Elijah and Moses, who were talking with Jesus.

09:5 。 Pyteg (Peter) tuix Iasof korng, “Liabpie, larn ti ciaf cinhør! Goarn øextaxng taq svakefng liau'ar, cidkefng ho lie, cidkefng ho Mosef (Moses), cidkefng ho Ylixaf (Elijah).”

。 彼得 (Peter) tuix Iasof 講, “拉比, larn(咱) ti ciaf 真好! Goarn 能夠 搭 三間 寮仔, 一間 ho lie, 一間 ho 摩西 (Moses), 一間 ho 以利亞(Elijah).”

[NIV] Peter said to Jesus, "Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah."

[NIV] (He did not know what to say, they were so frightened.)

09:7 。 Hitsii, u cidphvix huun zhut'hien ka yn jiaf`khylaai, køq u sviaf tuy huun`nih hoatzhud, korng, “Cit'ee si goar sor thviax ee kviar, lirn tiøh thviaf Y ee oe.”

。 那時, u 一片 雲 出現 ka yn 遮`起來, køq u 聲 tuy 雲`nih 發出, 講, “這個 si goar 所 疼 ee 囝/子, lirn tiøh 聽 Y ee 話.”

[NIV] Then a cloud appeared and enveloped them, and a voice came from the cloud: "This is my Son, whom I love. Listen to him!"

09:8 。 Hagsefng kvoafkirn khvoax yn ee siepvy, cyu Iasof kab yn zørhoea niaxnia, ygoa lorng bøo padlaang.

[NIV] Suddenly, when they looked around, they no longer saw anyone with them except Jesus.

09:9 。 Yn løqsvoaf ee sii, Iasof bexngleng yn, ti Jinzuo iawbøe tuy sie køh'oah yzeeng, mxthafng ka sor khvoax`kvix ee ka laang korng.

[NIV] As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus gave them orders not to tell anyone what they had seen until the Son of Man had risen from the dead.

[NIV] They kept the matter to themselves, discussing what "rising from the dead" meant.

09:11 。 Yn mng Iasof korng, “Uixsymmih Kenghagsu korng, Ylixaf (Elijah) tiøh taixsefng kaux leq?”

。 Yn 問 Iasof 講, “為甚麼 經學士 講, 以利亞 (Elijah) tiøh 代先 到 leq?”

[NIV] And they asked him, "Why do the teachers of the law say that Elijah must come first?"

09:12 。 Iasof ixn korng, “Ylixaf (Elijah) køfjieen taixsefng laai hoghefng baxnsu. Taxnsi Serngkefng afnzvoafviu kiezaix korng, ‘Jinzuo tiøh siu zøexzøe khofzhor, ho laang khvoarkhyn`aq?

。 Iasof 應(回答) korng, “以利亞 (Elijah) 果然 代先 來 復興 萬事. 但是 聖經 按怎樣(為甚麼) 記載 講, ‘人子 tiøh 受 多多 苦楚, ho 人 看輕`aq?

[NIV] Jesus replied, "To be sure, Elijah does come first, and restores all things. Why then is it written that the Son of Man must suffer much and be rejected?

09:13 。 Goar ka lirn korng, Ylixaf (Elijah) ykefng kaux laq, laang ia ciaux kaki ee iesux laai tuiethai y, lorng chinchviu Serngkefng sor kiezaix`ee hitkhoarn.”

[NIV] But I tell you, Elijah has come, and they have done to him everything they wished, just as it is written about him."

治好被污鬼附身的孩子（太 17:14-21 路 09:37-43）

[NIV] When they came to the other disciples, they saw a large crowd around them and the teachers of the law arguing with them.

[NIV] As soon as all the people saw Jesus, they were overwhelmed with wonder and ran to greet him.

[NIV] "What are you arguing with them about?" he asked.

09:17 。 Ti zernglaang tiongkafn u cidee laang ixn korng, “Siensvy, goar zhoa goar ee kviar laai lie ciaf, y ho kuie huxsyn, pviecviaa efkao, bøe kofng'oe.”

。 Ti 眾人 中間 u 一個 人 ixn(回答) 講, “先生, goar 帶 goar ee 囝/子 來 lie ciaf , y ho 鬼 附身, 變成 啞巴, bøe 講話.”

[NIV] A man in the crowd answered, "Teacher, I brought you my son, who is possessed by a spirit that has robbed him of speech.

09:18 。 Bølun ti symmih sofzai, kuie na liaqtiøh y, ciu ka y siaktør; y ee zhuix ciu laau peqphøf, kaxgee-chietkhie, kuisengkhw gvi-khokkhog. Goar chviar lie ee hagsefng ka kuie kvoar`zhutkhix, taxnsi yn ma bøhoatto.”

。 無論 ti 什麼 所在, 鬼 na 掠著 y, 就 ka y 摔倒; y ee 嘴 就 流 白波(白泡), 咬牙- 切齒, 歸身軀 硬- 酷酷(僵硬). Goar 請 lie ee 學生 ka 鬼 趕`出去, 但是 yn ma 無法度.”

[NIV] Whenever it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to drive out the spirit, but they could not."

09:19 。 Iasof korng, “Aq, mxsixn ee seatai aq, goar tiøh kab lirn zørhoea toax joaxkuo? Goar tiøqkøq jymnai lirn joaxkuo? Ka hit'ee gyn'ar zhoa laai goar ciaf.”

。 Iasof 講, “Aq, mxsixn(不信) ee 世代 aq, goar 得 kab lirn 做伙 住 偌久? Goar 得再 忍耐 lirn 偌久? Ka 那個 囡仔(小孩) 帶 來 goar ciaf(此).”

[NIV] "O unbelieving generation," Jesus replied, "how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy to me."

09:20 。 Yn ciu zhoa y laai Iasof hiaf. Hit'ee kuie cidkhvoarkvix Iasof, ciu ho hit'ee gyn'ar kuisengkw thiuzhoaq, tør ti thokhaf hoanlaai-hoankhix, zhuix launoa.

。 Yn 就 帶 y 來 Iasof hiaf彼). 那個 鬼 一看見 Iasof, 就 ho 那個 囡仔(小孩) 歸身軀(全身) 抽掣(痙攣/抽筋), 倒 ti 土腳 番來- 番去, 嘴 流涎(流唾沫).

[NIV] So they brought him. When the spirit saw Jesus, it immediately threw the boy into a convulsion. He fell to the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth.

09:21 。 Iasof mng y ee lauxpe korng, “Y tittiøh cit'ee pvi u joaxkuo aq” Y ixn korng, “Zu seahaxn tø afnny.

[NIV] Jesus asked the boy's father, "How long has he been like this?" "From childhood," he answered.

09:22 。 Kuie sisioong ka y hietløh høea`nih zuie`nih, beq biet`y. Lie na extaxng zoex symmih, kiuu lie linbirn goarn, pangzo goarn.”

。 鬼 時常 ka y 拋落 火`nih 水`nih, beq 滅`y. Lie na 能夠 做 什麼, 求 lie 憐憫 goarn, 幫助 goarn.”

[NIV] "It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us."

09:23 。 Iasof ka y korng, “’Lie na extaxng’? U sixn ee laang taghang lorng zoex exkaux.”

。 Iasof ka y 講, “’Lie na 能夠’? U 信 ee 人 各項 lorng 做 會到.”

[NIV] " 'If you can'?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for him who believes."

09:24 。 Gyn'ar ee lauxpe mafsiong toaxsviaf hoaq korng, “Goar sixn! Taxnsi goar ee sirnsym bøkaux, kiuu lie pangzo goar.”

。 囡仔/孩子 ee 老父 馬上 大聲 喊 講, “Goar 信! 但是 goar ee 信心 無夠, 求 lie 幫助 goar.”

[NIV] Immediately the boy's father exclaimed, "I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!"

09:25 。 Iasof khvoarkvix kuitin laang lorng zawoar`laai, ciu zekpi hit'ee siasiin korng, “Lie cit'ee efkao zhaohvixlaang ee siin aq, goar bexngleng lie tuy y zhud`laai, bøexsae køq jibkhix y ee laixbin.”

。 Iasof 看見 歸陣 人 lorng 跑倚`來, 就 責備 那個 邪神 講, “Lie 這個 啞巴 臭耳人 ee 神 aq, goar 命令 lie 從 y 出`來, 未使(不能) køq 入去 y ee 內面.”

[NIV] When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the evil spirit. "You deaf and mute spirit," he said, "I command you, come out of him and never enter him again."

09:26 。 Hit'ee siasiin toaxsviaf hiw, ho hit'ee gyn'ar taxngtang thiuzhoaq cidzun, ciaq zhud`laai. Hit'ee gyn'ar chinchviu sie`khix cidviu, tiekaux zøexzøe laang lorng korng, “Y ykefng sie`khix aq!”

。 那個 邪神 大聲 咻(喊叫), ho 那個 囡仔/孩子 重重 抽掣(痙攣/抽筋) 一陣, ciaq 出`來. 那個 囡仔/孩子 親像 死`去 一樣, 致到 多多 人 lorng 講, “Y 已經 死`去 aq!”

[NIV] The spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently and came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said, "He's dead."

09:27 。 Taxnsi Iasof khafn y ee chiuo, huu y khie`laai, y ciu khia`khylaai.

。 但是 Iasof 牽 y ee 手, 扶 y 起`來, y 就 站`起來.

[NIV] But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him to his feet, and he stood up.

09:28 。 Iasof jibkhix zhux`nih, Y ee hagsefng arm'axm mng Y korng, “Uixsymmih goarn bøextaxng ka hit'ee siasiin kvoar`zhutkhix?”

。 Iasof 入去 厝`nih, Y ee 學生 暗暗 問 Y 講, “為什麼 goarn 未能/不能 ka 那個 邪神 趕`出去?”

[NIV] After Jesus had gone indoors, his disciples asked him privately, "Why couldn't we drive it out?"

09:29 。 Y ka yn korng, “Citlui ee siasiin, na bøo eng kitør, ciu bøhoatto ka y kvoar` zhutkhix.”

。 Y ka yn 講, “這類 ee 邪神, na bøo 用 祈禱, 就 無法度 ka y 趕`出去.”

[NIV] He replied, "This kind can come out only by prayer."

耶穌第二次預言受難和復活（太 17:22-23 路 09:43-45）

[NIV] They left that place and passed through Galilee. Jesus did not want anyone to know where they were,

[NIV] because he was teaching his disciples. He said to them, "The Son of Man is going to be betrayed into the hands of men. They will kill him, and after three days he will rise."

[NIV] But they did not understand what he meant and were afraid to ask him about it.

誰最偉大（太 18:1-5 路 09:46-48）

[NIV] They came to Capernaum. When he was in the house, he asked them, "What were you arguing about on the road?"

09:34 。 Hagsefng tiaxmtiam bøo zhutsviaf, in'ui ti lo`nih, yn teq zenglun si symmih laang sioxngtoa.

。 學生 恬恬(靜靜) bøo 出聲, 因為 ti 路`nih, yn teq 爭論 si 什麼 人 上大(最大).

[NIV] But they kept quiet because on the way they had argued about who was the greatest.

09:35 。 Iasof ze`teq, kiøx zabjixee hagsefng laai, ka yn korng, “Na uxlaang sviuxbeq zoex thaau`ee, y ciu engkay zoex zernglaang ee sioxngbøea`ee, zoex zernglaang ee pogjiin.”

。 Iasof 坐`teq, 叫 十二個 學生 來, ka yn 講, “Na 有人 想要 做頭`ee, y 就 應該 做 眾人 ee 上尾`ee(最末的一個), 做 眾人 ee 僕人.”

[NIV] Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, "If anyone wants to be first, he must be the very last, and the servant of all."

[NIV] He took a little child and had him stand among them. Taking him in his arms, he said to them,

[NIV] "Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me."

[NIV] "Teacher," said John, "we saw a man driving out demons in your name and we told him to stop, because he was not one of us."

[NIV] "Do not stop him," Jesus said. "No one who does a miracle in my name can in the next moment say anything bad about me,

[NIV] for whoever is not against us is for us.

[NIV] I tell you the truth, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to Christ will certainly not lose his reward.

罪的誘惑（太 18:6-9 路 17:1-2）

[NIV] "And if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone tied around his neck.

09:43 。 Naxsi lie ee cidky chiuo ho lie hoaxnzoe, ciu zafmtng hitky chiuo. Lie lengkhør phoarsviux cirnjip efngsefng, zofngpie siangchiuo jip texgak, jibkhix hit'ee bøexhoaf ee hoea`nih khaq hør.

。 若是 lie ee 一枝 手 ho lie 犯罪, 就 斬斷 那枝 手. Lie 寧可 破相 進入 永生, 總比 雙手 入 地獄, 入去 那個 不熄 ee 火`nih 較好.

[NIV] If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out.

09:44 。 ti hiaf thaang si bøexsie, hoea si bøexhoaf`ee.

。 ti hiaf(彼) 蟲 si 不死, 火 si 不熄`ee.

[NIV] where " 'their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.'

09:45 。 Naxsi lie ee cidky khaf ho lie hoaxnzoe, ciu zafmtng hitky khaf. Lie lengkhør paykhaf cirnjip efngsefng, zofngpie siangkhaf jip texgak, jibkhix hit'ee bøexhoaf ee hoea`nih khahhør.

。 若是 lie ee 一枝 腳 ho lie 犯罪, 就 斬斷 那枝 腳. Lie 寧可 跛腳 進入 永生, 總比 雙腳 入 地獄, 入去 那個 不熄 ee 火`nih 較好.

[NIV] And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than to have two feet and be thrown into hell.

[NIV] And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell,

[NIV] where " 'their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.'

09:49 。 In'ui muycidee laang lorng beq eng hoea zoex iaam laai svi y.

。 因為 每一個 人 lorng beq 用 火 做 鹽 laai 醃 y.

[NIV] For every one shall be salted with fire.

。 鹽 本來 si 好`ee, 但是 鹽 na 失去 y ee 味, beq 用 什麼 來 ho y køq u 鹹味 leq? Lirn 內面 應該 u 鹽, 逐家(大家) ia tiøh 彼此 和好.

[NIV] "Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can you make it salty again? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with each other."
