9:1 [3] 我在基督裡說的是實話,並沒有撒謊,因為我的良心在聖靈裡一同為我作證;

Goar () ti 基督-內 講 實話, bøo() 白賊, goar ee 良心 ti 聖靈 ee 光照-, ia 證明 goar 所 講`ee si 真實`ee.

[NIV] I speak the truth in Christ—I am not lying, my conscience confirms it in the Holy Spirit—


9:2 [1] 我是大有憂愁、心裏時常傷痛。

Goar u cintoa ee iubun, simlai sisioong u kegtoa ee siongthviax.

Goar u 真大 ee 憂悶, 心內 時常 u 極大 ee 傷疼.

[NIV] I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart.

[BBE] That I am full of sorrow and pain without end.


9:3 [1] 為我弟兄、我骨肉之親、就是自己被咒詛、與基督分離、我也願意。

Uixtiøh goar ee hviati, goar ee kutjiok-ciechyn, ciuxsi goar pwnsyn siu ciuozor, kab Kitog laai hunli, goar ia kamgoan.

為著 goar ee 兄弟, goar ee 骨肉-至親, 就是 goar 本身 受 咒詛, kab 基督 來 分離, goar ia 甘願.

[NIV] For I could wish that I myself were cursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers, those of my own race,


9:4 [1] 他們是以色列人.那兒子的名分、榮耀、諸約、律法、禮儀、應許、都是他們的.

[4] 他們是上帝的選民;上帝使他們有兒女的名份,分享他的榮耀。上帝與他們立約,賜給他們法律;他們有敬拜上帝的知識,也接受了他的應許。

Yn (他們) si 以色列-, 上帝 接納 yn(他們) 做 囝(), ho yn(他們) 分享 Y ee 榮光; Y kab yn(他們) 立約, yn 律法; yn(他們) u 敬拜 上帝 ee 知識, køq 得著 Y ee 應允.

[NIV] the people of Israel. Theirs is the adoption as sons; theirs the divine glory, the covenants, the receiving of the law, the temple worship and the promises.

9:5 [1] 列祖就是他們的祖宗;按肉體說,基督也是從他們出來的。他是在萬有之上,永遠可稱頌的 神。阿們。

Liedzor si yn ee zofsiefn; ciaux jiogthea laai korng, Kitog iaxsi tuy yn zhud`laai ee; Y si ti baxnmih ee tefngbin, efng’oarn thafng ølør ee Sioxngtex. Amen.

列祖 si yn(他們) ee 祖先; 照 肉體 來 講, 基督 iaxsi(也是) tuy() yn(他們) 出來`ee; Y si ti 萬物 ee 頂面, 永遠 thafng() 呵咾(讚美) ee 上帝. Amen.

[NIV] Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry of Christ, who is God over all, forever praised! Amen.

[KJV] Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.

9:6 [1] 這不是說 神的話落了空.因為從以色列生的、不都是以色列人.

Zef mxsi korng Sioxngtex ee oe sit’hau aq. In’ui tuy Ysekliet-laang svy`ee, bøo twtuo lorng si Ysekliet-laang.

mxsi 講 上帝 ee 話 失效 aq. 因為 tuy() 以色列-人 生`ee, bøo 抵抵(不一定) () si 以色列-.

[NIV] It is not as though God's word had failed. For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel.


9:7 [1] 也不因為是亞伯拉罕的後裔、就都作他的兒女.惟獨『從以撒生的、才要稱為你的後裔。』

Ia mxsi in’ui yn si Apeklaqharn(Abraham) ee hoxex, ciu lorng si y ee kviar. Cyu “tuy Ysad(Issac) svy`ee, ciaq sngrsi lie ee hoxex.”

Ia() mxsi(不是) 因為 yn(他們) si 亞伯拉罕(Abraham) ee 後裔, 就 攏 si y ee (). 只有 “tuy() 以撒(Issac) `ee, ciaq() 算是 lie ee 後裔.”

[NIV] Nor because they are his descendants are they all Abraham's children. On the contrary, "It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned."

9:8 [1] 這就是說、肉身所生的兒女、不是 神的兒女.惟獨那應許的兒女、才算是後裔。

Zef ciuxsi korng, mxsi jiogthea sor svy ee kviar, ciu sngrzoex Sioxngtex ee kviar; kantvaf hiah’ee tuy Sioxngtex ee erng’urn sor svy ee kviar, ciaq sngrzoex hoxex.

這 就是 講, mxsi(不是) 肉體 所 生 ee (), ciu 算做 上帝 ee (); 干單(只有) 那些 tuy() 上帝 ee 應允 所 生 ee (), ciaq() 算做 後裔.

[NIV] In other words, it is not the natural children who are God's children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham's offspring.


9:9 [1] 因為所應許的話是這樣說、『到明年這時候我要來、撒拉必生一個兒子。』

In’ui Sioxngtex ee erng’urn si afnny korng: “Ti sor tvia ee sikafn, goar e køq laai, Satlaq(Sarah) boeq u cidee kviar.

因為 上帝 ee 應允 si afnny : “Ti 所 定 ee 時間, goar e() køq() , 撒拉(Sarah) boeq() u 一個 囝().

[NIV] For this was how the promise was stated: "At the appointed time I will return, and Sarah will have a son."


9:10 [1] 不但如此、還有利百加、既從一個人、就是從我們的祖宗以撒懷了孕.

Mxna afnny, Lixpekkaf(Rebekah) ee siangsvi’ar maxsi tuy larn ee zor Ysad(Isaac) laai hoai’in`ee.

Mxna(不但) afnny, 利百加(Rebekah) ee 雙生仔 maxsi(也是) tuy() larn() ee 祖 以撒(Isaac) 來 懷孕`ee.

[NIV] Not only that, but Rebekah's children had one and the same father, our father Isaac.

[ASV] And not only so; but Rebecca also having conceived by one, [even] by our father Isaac--

9:11 [3] 雙生子還沒有生下來,善惡也沒有行出來(為要堅定 神揀選人的旨意,

[4] 然而,為了要表示他確實根據自己的旨意揀選了其中的一個兒子,上帝對麗百加說:「那大兒子要服事小兒子。」他說這話的時候,他們還沒有出生,還沒有行善或作惡;可見上帝的揀選是出於自己的旨意,跟他們的行為沒有關係。

Siangsvi’ar iawboe zhutsix, iawboe zøx jixnhøo hør-phvae taixcix yzeeng, uixtiøh boeq kienteng Sioxngtex kefngsvoarn laang ee cyix,

雙生仔 猶未 出世, 猶未 做 任何 好-歹 代誌 以前, 為著 boeq() 堅定 上帝 揀選 人 ee 旨意,

[NIV] Yet, before the twins were born or had done anything good or bad—in order that God's purpose in election might stand:


9:12 [3] 不是由於行為,而是由於那呼召者), 神就對她說:“將來大的要服事小的。”

9:13 [1] 正如經上所記、『雅各是我所愛的、以掃是我所惡的。』

Ciu chinchviu Serngkefng sor kiezaix`ee: “Gvafkog(Jacob) si goar sor aix`ee, Ysøx(Esau) si goar sor huxn’og`ee.

就 親像 聖經 所 記載`ee: “雅各(Jacob) si goar 所 愛`ee, 以掃(Esau) si goar 所 恨惡`ee.

[NIV] Just as it is written: "Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated."


9:14 [3] 既是這樣,我們可以說甚麼呢? 神不公平嗎?絕對不會!

Afnny, larn boeq zvoafviu korng leq? Sioxngtex si putgi`ee maq? Zoadtuix mxsi!

Afnny, larn() boeq() 怎樣 講 leq? 上帝 si 不義`ee maq? 絕對 mxsi(不是)!

[NIV] What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Not at all!

9:15 [1] 因他對摩西說、『我要憐憫誰、就憐憫誰、要恩待誰、就恩待誰。』

In’ui Y tuix Mosef korng: “Goar boeq linbirn goar sor aix linbirn`ee; boeq thviarsiøq goar sor aix thviarsiøq`ee.”

因為 Y 對 摩西 講: “Goar boeq() 憐憫 goar 所 愛 憐憫`ee; boeq() 疼惜 goar 所 愛 疼惜`ee.”

[NIV] For he says to Moses, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy,
and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion."


9:16 [1] 據此看來、這不在乎那定意的、也不在乎那奔跑的、只在乎發憐憫的 神。

[4] 可見上帝的揀選不是根據人的意志或努力,而是出於他的憐憫。

Ciaux afnny khvoax, Sioxngtex ee kefngsvoar mxsi kunkux laang ee iecix iafsi laang ee phahpviax, si zhud ti Sioxngtex ee linbirn.

afnny , 上帝 ee 揀選 mxsi(不是) 根據 人 ee 意志 iafsi (或是) ee 打拚, si ti 上帝 ee 憐憫.

[NIV] It does not, therefore, depend on man's desire or effort, but on God's mercy.


9:17 [1] 因為經上有話向法老說、『我將你興起來、特要在你身上彰顯我的權能、並要使我的名傳遍天下。』

In’ui Serngkefng u kiezaix, ‘tuix Hoatlør korng: “Goar ho lie hengkhie, si boeq eng lie laai hiefnbeeng goar ee koanleeng, ia boeq ho goar ee miaa thoan’ioong ti phor-thviha.”’

因為 聖經 u 記載, ‘對 法老 講: “Goar ho lie 興起, si boeq() lie 來 顯明 goar ee 權能, ia boeq() ho goar ee 名 傳揚 ti -天下.”’

[NIV] For the Scripture says to Pharaoh: "I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth."


9:18 [1] 如此看來、 神要憐憫誰、就憐憫誰、要叫誰剛硬、就叫誰剛硬。

Afnny khvoax`khylaai, Sioxngtex boeq linbirn symmih laang, ciu linbirn symmih laang; boeq kiøx symmih laang gvixsym, ciu ho symmih laang gvixsym.

Afnny `起來, 上帝 boeq() 憐憫 甚麼 人, 就 憐憫 甚麼 人; boeq() 叫 甚麼 人 硬心, ho 甚麼 人 硬心.

[NIV] Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden.


9:19 [1] 這樣、你必對我說、他為甚麼還指責人呢.有誰抗拒他的旨意呢。

Afnny, lie itteng e tuix goar korng: “Na afnny, Sioxngtex zvoafviu iawkuo teq cyzeg laang neq? U symmih laang extaxng hoafnkhoxng Y ee cyix neq?”

Afnny, lie 一定 e() goar : “Na afnny, 上帝 怎樣 猶久() teq 指責 人 neq? U 甚麼 人 extaxng(能夠) 反抗 Y ee 旨意 neq?”

[NIV] One of you will say to me: "Then why does God still blame us? For who resists his will?"


9:20 [1] 你這個人哪、你是誰、竟敢向 神強嘴呢.受造之物豈能對造他的說、你為甚麼這樣造我呢。

Lie cit’ee laang aq, lie si symmih laang, kerngjieen kvar kab Siozngtex piexnpok? Siuxzø ee mih, kiarm extaxng tuix zø y ee korng, lie uixsymmih ka goar zøxcviaa afnny leq?

Lie 這個 人 aq, lie si 甚麼 人, 竟然 敢 kab 上帝 辯駁? 受造 ee , extaxng(能夠)) 對 造 y ee , lie 為甚麼 ka goar 造成 afnny leq?

[NIV] But who are you, O man, to talk back to God? "Shall what is formed say to him who formed it, 'Why did you make me like this?' "


9:21 [1] 窯匠難道沒有權柄、從一團泥裏拿一塊作成貴重的器皿、又拿一塊作成卑賤的器皿麼。

Siøhuii ee laang kiarm bøkhoaan thafng ciaux y kaki ee iesux, eng kaang cidtex thoo, cidkoar zøx kuietiong ee khieku, cidkoar zøx zhosiok ee khieku leq.

燒磁 ee 人 豈 無權 thafng() y 家己/自己 ee 意思, 用 同 一塊 土, cidkoar(一些) 做 貴重 ee 器具, cidkoar(一些) 做 粗俗 ee 器具 leq.

[NIV] Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for noble purposes and some for common use?


9:22 [1] 倘若 神要顯明他的忿怒、彰顯他的權能、就多多忍耐寬容那可怒預備遭毀滅的器皿.

Sietsuo Sioxngtex aeboeq hiefnbeeng Y ee hurnno, cionghiern Y ee khoanleeng, ciu zhuozhux khoan’ioong thunlurn, jymsiu hiah’ee thafng siuxkhix, uxpi boeq siu huybiet ee khieku.

設使 上帝 愛欲 顯明 Y ee 忿怒, 彰顯 Y ee 權能, 就 處處 寬容 吞忍, 忍受 那些 thafng() 受氣, 預備 boeq() 受 毀滅 ee 器具.

[NIV] What if God, choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath—prepared for destruction?


9:23 [1] 又要將他豐盛的榮耀、彰顯在那蒙憐憫早預備得榮耀的器皿上.

[3] 為了要使他豐盛的榮耀,彰顯在那蒙恩、早已預備要得榮耀的器皿上,這又有甚麼不可呢?

Zef si uixtiøh boeq ho Y hongseng ee eng’iau, cionghiern ti hiah’ee tittiøq linbirn, uxpi boeq tittiøh eng’iau ee khieku.

si 為著 boeq() ho Y 豐盛 ee 榮耀, 彰顯 ti 那些 得著 憐憫, 預備 boeq() 得著 榮耀 ee 器具.

[NIV] What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory—

[BBE] And to make clear the wealth of his glory to vessels of mercy, which he had before made ready for glory,


9:24 [1] 這器皿就是我們被 神所召的、不但是從猶太人中、也是從外邦人中、這有甚麼不可呢。

Ciah’ee khieku, ciuxsi larn ciah’ee siu Sioxngtex sor tiaux, mxna tuy Iuthaix-laang, ma tuy goaxpafng-laang tiofng bongtiaux`ee, zef kairm u symmih boexsae`tid leq?

這些 器具, 就是 larn() 這些 受 上帝 所 召, mxna(不但) tuy() 猶太-, ma tuy() 外邦-人 中 蒙召`ee, 這 豈 u 甚麼 未使(不能)`leq?

[NIV] even us, whom he also called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles?


9:25 [1] 就像 神在何西阿書上說、『那本來不是我子民的、我要稱為我的子民.本來不是蒙愛的、我要稱為蒙愛的。

Chinchviu Sioxngtex ti Hose’af-sw (Book of Hosea) sor kiezaix`ee, “Hiah’ee pwnlaai mxsi goar ee pehsvix, goar boeq zhefng yn zøx goar ee pehsvix. Hiah’ee pwnlaai bøo tittiøh thviarsiøq`ee, goar boeq zhefng yn zøx tittiøh thviarsiøq`ee.”

親像 上帝 ti 何西阿-(Book of Hosea) 所 記載`ee, “那些 本來 mxsi goar ee 百姓, goar boeq() yn(他們) goar ee 百姓. 那些 本來 bøo 得著 疼惜`ee, goar boeq() yn(他們) 做 得著 疼惜`ee.”

[NIV] As he says in Hosea: "I will call them 'my people' who are not my people; and I will call her 'my loved one' who is not my loved one,"


9:26 [1] 從前在甚麼地方對他們說、你們不是我的子民、將來就在那裏稱他們為永生 神的兒子。』

Zafzeeng ti symmih sofzai ka yn korng, ‘Lirn mxsi goar ee pehsvix’, cionglaai ti hiaf, goar boeq zhefng yn zøx ‘Efng’oah Sioxngtex ee kviar’.

早前(從前) ti 甚麼 所在 ka yn , ‘(你們) mxsi(不是) goar ee 百姓’, 將來 ti hiaf(那裏), goar boeq() yn(他們) 做 ‘永活 上帝 ee ()’.

[NIV] and, "It will happen that in the very place where it was said to them, 'You are not my people,' they will be called 'sons of the living God.' "


9:27 [1] 以賽亞指著以色列人喊著說、『以色列人雖多如海沙、得救的不過是剩下的餘數.

Luxnkaux Ysekliet, Ysaeaf toaxsviaf hoaq-korng, “Ysekliet-laang ee sorgiah suijieen chinchviu haysoaf hiahniq’zøe, titkiux`ee putkøx si zhwn`løqlaai ee lansafn poxhun naxtvia.”

論到 以色列, 以賽亞 大聲 喊-, “以色列-ee 數額 雖然 親像 海沙 hiahniq’zøe(那樣多), 得救`ee 不過 si ()` 落來 ee 零星 部分 naxtvia(而已).”

[NIV] Isaiah cries out concerning Israel: "Though the number of the Israelites be like the sand by the sea, only the remnant will be saved.


9:28 [2] 因為主必徹底而簡截地行盡審判的話于地上。」

[3] 因為主必在地上迅速而徹底地成就他的話。”

In’ui Zuo boeq khoaesog køq thiettea laai symphvoax zoante, thafng sengciu Y ee oe.

因為 主 boeq() 快速 køq 徹底 來 審判 全地, thafng() 成就 Y ee .

[NIV] For the Lord will carry out his sentence on earth with speed and finality."

[ASV] for the Lord will execute [his] word upon the earth, finishing it and cutting it short.


9:29 [1] 又如以賽亞先前說過、『若不是萬軍之主給我們存留餘種、我們早已像所多瑪、蛾摩拉的樣子了。』

[3] 又如以賽亞早已說過的:“如果不是萬軍之主給我們存留後裔,我們早就像所多瑪和蛾摩拉一樣了。”

Køq chinchviu Ysaeaf zafzeeng sor korng`ee, “Na mxsi Baxnkwn ee Zuo ka larn zunliuu hoxex, larn zar tø chinchviu Softømar(Sodom) kab Gomolah(Gomorrah) cidviu.”

Køq 親像 以賽亞 早前(先前) 所 講`ee, “Na mxsi 萬軍 ee ka larn() 存留 後裔, larn() 親像 所多瑪(Sodom) kab 蛾摩拉(Gomorrah) 一樣.”

[NIV] It is just as Isaiah said previously: "Unless the Lord Almighty had left us descendants, we would have become like Sodom, we would have been like Gomorrah."


9:30 [1] 這樣、我們可說甚麼呢.那本來不追求義的外邦人、反得了義、就是因信而得的義.

Afnny, larn boeq afnzvoar korng neq? Hiah’ee pwnlaai bøo tuikiuu gi ee goaxpafng-laang, hoafntngr tittiøh gi, ciuxsi tuy sixn laai ee gi.

Afnny, boeq() 按怎(怎樣) neq? 那些 本來 無 追求 義 ee 外邦-, 反轉(反而) 得著 義, 就是 tuy() 信 來 ee .

[NIV] What then shall we say? That the Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have obtained it, a righteousness that is by faith;


9:31 [1] 但以色列人追求律法的義、反得不著律法的義。

[2] 而以色列追求著稱義的律法,反而達不到律法。

[3] 但以色列人追求律法的義(“律法的義”原文作“義的律法”),卻達不到律法的要求。

Taxnsi Ysekliet-laang(Israel) tuikiuu zhefng gi ee ludhoad, hoafntngr tid-bøtiøh ludhoad ee gi.

但是 以色列-(Israel) 追求 稱 義 ee 律法, 反轉(反而) -無到(不到) 律法 ee .

[NIV] but Israel, who pursued a law of righteousness, has not attained it.

[KJV] But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.


9:32 [1] 這是甚麼緣故呢.是因為他們不憑著信心求、只憑著行為求.他們正跌在那絆腳石上.

Zef si symmih ienkox neq? Si in’ui yn bøo khøx sirnsym, kantvaf sviuxboeq khøx heng’uii laai kiuu. Kietkør soax thattiøh hittex ho laang poaqtør ee ciøh, tø poaqtør laq.

這 是 甚麼 緣故 neq? Si 因為 yn(他們) bøo 靠 信心, 干單() 想要 靠 行為 來 求. 結果 soax 踢著 那塊 ho 人 跋倒 ee , tø 跋倒 laq.

[NIV] Why not? Because they pursued it not by faith but as if it were by works. They stumbled over the "stumbling stone."


9:33 [1] 就如經上所記、『我在錫安放一塊絆腳的石頭、跌人的磐石.信靠他的人必不至於羞愧。』

Chinchviu Serngkefng sor kiezaix`ee, “Lie khvoax, goar ti Siah’afn(Zion) khngx cidtex e ho laang ee khaf thad`tiøh ee ciøh, e ho laang poaqtør ee ciøqpvoaa; sirnkhøx Y`ee, pitteng bøo tiekaux kiernsiaux.”

親像 聖經 所 記載`ee, “Lie , goar ti 錫安(Zion) khngx() 一塊 e() ho ee 腳 踢`ee , e() ho 人 跋倒 ee 石磐; 信靠 Y`ee, 必定 bøo() 致到 見笑(羞愧).”

[NIV] As it is written: "See, I lay in Zion a stone that causes men to stumble and a rock that makes them fall, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame."
