MTL input method installation and configuration

* Weasel download for Windows

* click on downloaded 'weasel*.exe'-> yes -> accept to proceed

* select 'traditional Chinese' and proceed installation
* mtl download which is a zip file contians MTL dictionary to harnji, and MTL to POJ mapping.

* Or download rime.zip and extract all to a folder (when updating new dictionaries - updated on 6/5/2022).

* right click on downloaded 'mtlyaml.zip' (or rime.zip) and select extract all
* restart your PC -> login
* bring up 'cmd' prompt by entering 'cmd' (don't hit "enter") on lower left hand side search area
* right click on the pop up window's cmd icon -> 'run as admin'
* You need to copy extracted files to Rime folder under your AppData as admin:

cd \Users\login_id\AppData\Roaming\Rime

copy \Users\login_id\Downloads\mtlyaml\*

Be sure to replace 'login_id' with your login id

Alternatively, you may copy all the files to 'rime':

xcopy \Users\login_id\Downloads\rime\* . /e/h

* left click on 'Eng' icon on the right hand side lower corner and select (Traditional Taiwan)
* right click on '中' and select Reload(R)', be sure to mark 'MTL', and unmark the rest on the popup window

* right click on '中' and select 'input method setup(s)', be sure to mark 'MTL', and unmark the rest on the popup window

* click on '中' to save it and proceed to choose your favorite display format/color
* right click on '中' again and select 'reload dictionary' and wait for a couple of minutes * We may update dictionary with new vocabularies. If you down the above zip file, and copy new dictionaries to 'Rime' folder and run the above step again. If for some reason, it failed to work. Feel free to install weasal again, and reload dictionary. Note: you are unable to do so. Re-install 'Weasel' in the very first step. Then jump back to this step and proceed.

* You may start entering MTL in the search area now(e.g. haghau), you should see a drop down menu with harni. Due to the SW constrains, you need to replace 'ø' with 0 (which is zero). And omit entering back quote, and single quote. (e.g. kin'afjit -> kinafjit)

Note: if you don't see any harnji, then reboot and reload MTL dictionary after making sure only MTL is selected (see previous steps for input method setup)

* You may switch Trime's input schemas from MTL to other input method such as mtl2poj, or mtl2kip. This allows you enter MTL for translating to POJ or KIP which are understood by the following TTS tools:(Note: some tone sndhi may not be accurate - work-in-progress. And you can switch back to 'Eng' for English, if desired.)

Please refer to this link for other OS installation. Basically we use MTL yamls instead of 'dieziu'. There are over 60,000 vocabularies in MTL dictionary. We need your help to enrich it.
