1. (N) || 一種民俗活動。中元節超渡孤魂野鬼，在廣場用竹子搭一高臺，設一木架，擺供品祭孤，稱為「孤棚」，祭拜過後，由民眾攀爬，並爭奪孤棚中的供品，相傳搶孤中搶得祭品，可在來年有好運氣，這叫做「搶孤」。
