1. (N) || 中元節。我國傳統民俗節日之一。農曆七月十五日，在這一天除了要參加廟裡為孤魂野鬼所舉辦的普渡之外，也會準備豐盛的飯菜在自家門口祭拜好兄弟，俗稱「拜門口」(pài mn̂g-kháu)。傳說如果供品太少或飯菜不夠豐盛就會遭到好兄弟的報復，所以中元節是一年之中祭品最多的節日。
