(N) inconclusive result in poe divination. when offering sacrifices to the gods or ancestors or divining using poe divination, both flats face up. the Harnji 笑 chiøx is used for phonetic value, for the meaning of "facing up". the folk interpretation is "explanation unclear, deities' plans undecided, therefore smile in response" || 陽筊。祭祀或占卜擲杯筊，兩個都是平面向上的情況。「笑」是借音字，為「面朝上」之意。民間則有「說明不清、神佛主意未定，所以微笑以對」的詮釋。
